Morgue worker liked rape victims young, female and dead

Linebreak

Kenneth Douglas

Last year, former Ohio morgue worker Kenneth Douglas was found guilty of having sex with a murder victim.

Now, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Hamilton County prosecutors are seeking additional charges against Douglas, after DNA tests show he had sex with two other bodies stored at the morgue when he worked there as an overnight attendant at the morgue from 1976-1992.

Douglas, 55, admitted last year he had sex with the body of 18-year-old Karen Range after it was brought in August 1982 for an autopsy.

As if this isn’t creepy enough, Range’s body was nearly headless at the time.

Douglas is serving only a three-year prison sentence for that one and after his arrest last year (25 years after the incident) he told authorities that he had sex with other bodies – all young females.

His attorney Norm Aubin said DNA tests confirmed this – his semen was found on two other bodies.

Given the length of time involved, how is that even possible?

And there’s a further twist.

The man who murdered Range, David Steffen, had always denied raping her.

The evidence in Douglas’ case may prove him correct and could save him from execution.
