A Spokane, Washington police officer who had sex with a woman in his patrol car will be reinstated to his job after an arbitrator ruled he should have received a 60-day suspension rather thanbe  fired.

Jason Uberuaga will be back on the beat tomorrow.

The Associated Press reports that Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick fired Uberuaga after he used his department-issued cell phone to photograph a topless woman before using his genetically-issued billy club on her in his patrol car outside a bar. In fairness, 10-year veteran Uberuaga was off duty at the time.

Do Spokane cops get to take their police cars home with them?

The arbitrator ruled the charge of conduct unbecoming an officer was appropriate, but not the firing. Uberuaga will receive about 10 1/2 months of back pay.

That could be the most expensive fuck in Spokane history.
