The economy may be in the crapper where you are, but it’s boom times for Syrian hookers.

Al Arabiya reports that new private sector investment has increased funds allotted to entertainment and indulgence – and with hookers it’s a twofer.

With money and bodily fluids flowing, Syrian pros are raising their prices.

“This is the oldest profession in human history, and it will continue unabated and will evolve in form and style as long as the methods of service keep pace with modernization,” said one Damascus prostitute.

One prostitute from one of the Arab Maghreb countries said her living standards drastically improved after she gave up being a secretary – goodbye dictation, hello dick fellatin’.

“Not too long ago I was looking for a small apartment at the outskirts of Damascus. Now, I have a small fortune and can leave,” she said. 

Her customers initially paid from $100 to $200 for a few hours but her time is money – literally – and she’s charging more, allegedly for better service.
