The U.S Attorney’s Office is letting former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer off the hook. He will not face criminal charges for his repeated (and pricey) sessions with high-priced call girls at the Emperors Club.

You may recall Spitzer was a VIP with the club and his liaisons made “Kristen” (aka Ashley Dupre) the most famous “escort” in America.

The good news for Spitzer is that he didn’t use any campaign or public money to pay for his kinky moments so Manhattan DA Michael Garcia concluded that “the public interest would not be further advanced by filing criminal charges in this matter.”

It seems the public interest is only advanced by prosecuting men who solicit crack hos.

On the other hand, four pleasure providers from Spitzer’s Club made plea deals with prosecutors and face jail time.

Their attorney didn’t think it was fair either.
